The more I read and here about the lead up to 9/11, I wonder who or clintonwhat part of our Government was really responsible. The Clinton administration says they knew for a fact that al Qaeda was up to no good. There administration also warned the Bush administration of there intelligence. (Maybe intelligence is too strong of a word for either party) I know Clinton had a lot of personal issues at the time. But hell he was a lame duck president who had just been impeached what did he have to loose by going after al Qaeda? So not to hurt his legacy any more he dropped everything in Bush’s lap. So for about 9 months the new administration watches there numbers in the polls drop. Most of the nation wonders if he will ever leave his ranch. The rest of the nation wish they could take a 6 month vacation there 1st year on a job. And the majority of thinks of him as an idiot. But what if he really isn’t an idiot? What if every thing that happened was exactly what they wanted to happen? Maybe they didn’t think the attacks would be so devastating and let them go. I know if I were president I wouldn’t want to be in Washington if I knew their missiles coming at bushme. I think it would be a little safer in a school in Florida. Wouldn’t you? Things worked out for Bush his polls went up he got to invade Iraq,(for his dad) Halliburton gets more no bid contracts, (for Cheney) oil prices are $3 a gallon.( for Mom) Looks to me like he’s done every thing he set out to do. Not an idiot but a genius.
